The price database
is now updated automatically each night at 4am EST.
Please use the
'Update REW Price Database' button in
your catalog price software to obtain the latest database
update.
Important
Notice: As of 12/04/06, we have switched to our
2006-2007 catalog (Version 8).
To find your software
version, in the REW Online Catalog Price Lookup Software,
click on 'Help' then 'About' at the top of the screen.
Version 7 of the REW
Catalog Price Lookup software which was released with the
2004-2005 catalog (white cover) is no longer valid. You
can continue to use it with the catalog for as long as you
like, but there will be no more price updates to the version 7
database. If you're still using the 2004-2005 catalog,
please make sure not to update to version 8.x of the
database since it will not work with your older
catalog. All database updates using the 'Update REW
Price Database Button' will only be applicable to the
2006-2007 catalog (version 8).
We've had people ask us
why we don't keep both versions of the price database
available. Many of the items in our 2004-2005 catalog
have been replaced with new model numbers, features, etc. in
our new catalog. This makes it where we can no longer
effectively price or support the products in the older
catalog. We would be devoting labor to keep a database
up-to-date with products that are not up-to-date.
Because of this, it does not make sense and in many cases is
an impossibility since prices no longer exist for discontinued
products.
